The purpose of this app is to collect and organize generated solar power data from an Envoy box on a WiFi network.
The app will start at sunrise and periodically check current solar power generation from an Envoy box till sunset. For each reading, an entry is made in a log file with the current time, total generated power for the day, current power generation, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, humidity, cloud cover, and the weather. The non-solar data is downloaded from the OpenWeather website.
The log files are processed and the data is saved in a Sqllite database. The collected data can be viewed by day or by month. You can view plots of power generated vs. temperature, cloud cover, and wind. The cloud cover and power generated can be compared for two different days.
