HTML is the language of the Internet and has been the framework for every website for decades. Used together with CSS and JavaScript, there are no limits in terms of design and functionality. Combined, these three languages represent the de facto standard for modern web development.
The Web Development - HTML, CSS, JavaScript course is aimed at ambitious beginners in web development. No special prior knowledge of programming or web development is required.
The course provides a solid basic understanding of the underlying concepts and possible applications. The central elements and properties of the languages are explained using numerous practical examples and applied independently in parts of the tasks. Using many examples and instructions, interested beginners without any special prior knowledge will be able to gradually design, design and add functions to web applications themselves.
The written exam can be written online or at a FernUniversität Hagen campus location of your choice. Once you pass the exam, you will receive a university certificate. Students can also have earned ECTS points certified for a Certificate of Basic Studies.
Further information can be found on the FernUniversität Hagen website under CeW (Center for Electronic Continuing Education).
