The Apptive Video app enhances conceptual understanding.
The Apptive Video App comprises tutorial videos for Grades 6-8. The videos cater to the concepts of different subjects such as Maths, Science, History, Geography and Social and Political Life. Each subject consists of a topic list as per the concepts mapped with the latest NCERT syllabus. Each topic consists an exhaustive bank of videos covering all aspects of the topic.
The app can be downladed from the Playstore. After the successful download, a registration page will open.
Once you have registered with the desired grade, enter your registered mobile number on the screen. You will receive a ‘one time password (OTP)’. After entering the same and once it is verified, you will be directed to the Grade screen. Once you click on the registered grade, different subjects will be displayed.
Click on the specific subject whose concept videos you wish to view. A topic band will be displayed on the screen. Click on the band. A list of topics pertaining to the selected subject and grade will appear. Click on the required topic. You will get a drop-down list of sub-topics. Click on the sub-topic whose video you wish to view. A video tab will appear on the screen. Click on the tab to watch the video. Click on 'play/pause' button to play or pause the video. Click and drag the white solid circle marker across the seek bar to move forward and backward in the video. You may also click on the arrow buttons given on the either side of the play/pause button to forward or rewind the video. The arrow buttons enable you to forward the video by 15 seconds and rewind the video by 5 seconds, respectively. You can also choose to play another video by clicking on the back button and minimizing the currently playing video.
