1. Welcome to the Happiness Journal!
The shortcut to achieving happiness doesn’t lie in learning theories or attaining enlightenment. Rather, it lies in how long you can consistently repeat simple actions.
Through this journal, we hope you build a daily happiness routine as a habit.
2. The Three Daily Happiness Routines!
-Noticing your body and emotions:
The part of the brain where happiness resides originally evolved to serve the body. Becoming aware of your physical state and emotions—and recording them—is the first step toward happiness.
-Writing a Gratitude Journal:
Consciously recalling three positive experiences, joyful emotions, or things you're thankful for each day is a routine that sows the seeds of happiness.
-Writing a Good Deeds Journal:
Homo sapiens are capable of transcending the pursuit of a pleasurable life. True happiness is only possible when others become happier because of you.
A single act of kindness each day can blossom into the flower of happiness.
3. 180-Day Gratitude Challenge (6 months)
We cannot sow seeds of happiness in a brain that has, for 3.5 million years, been hardwired for negativity bias.
By writing a gratitude journal for 180 days, your brain will undergo structural changes, creating fertile soil for happiness to take root.
Let’s practice these together every day—and journey toward a happier world!
