Developed in the 1960's, Goal Attainment Scaling provides a method to objectively measure individual skills and behaviors when standardized testing may not be fully informative. Goal Attainment Scaling can evaluate the effectiveness of an individual goal, group of goals and overall program effectiveness. Based on the bell-shaped curve, Z and T scores for the goal(s) can be calculated using the equation originally described by Kiresuk, Smith, and Cardillo. This application was created in an effort to provide an efficient, user-friendly interface to write, calculate, and interpret goal attainment results.
